To the Church Leaders of Modesto,

In September 2008 over 2,000 believers gathered in downtown Modesto for the sole purpose of worshiping God and praying for our city. Pastors from many denominations led segments of prayer for our country, church unity, and revival. Among those in attendance were various state and civc leaders.

Please join me and other Central Valley churches as we unite together for The Gathering ‘09. Our sole purpose for the evening will be to promote the Kingdom of God.

The Gathering ‘09 will take place September 18, 2009 on the corner of 10 and I Streets in front of the Gallo Center for the Performing Arts. Your participation as fellow watchmen of our cities addresses the call of Jesus to be lights of the world
