Dear Pastors, Business Owners and Civic Leaders,

Please accept this special invitation to join thousands of people from all parts of Modesto and the surrounding area to meet in the center of our city for the annual event called “The Gathering ‘09″.

Leaders from city and county government, commerce, education, entertainment, media and the arts, along with pastors of our churches, will come together to worship and pray for the needs of our community.

You will enjoy a thrilling mass choir and worship band composed of many churches from the Modesto area, singing and lifting the heart of our city. “The Gathering ‘09″ will take place Friday, September 18th at the corner of 10th and I Streets (outside the Gallo Center for the Arts), beginning at 7:30 PM.

In advance of this night of unity, we are requesting churches local business partners to help us underwrite this event. No organization or individual will receive any remuneration for their services. All donations will go towards the event expenses such as sound, lighting, media equipment, staging, permits and licenses.

Our expenses for this night will be met if 200 local business owners and leaders will contribute a tax-deductible gift of at least $300.
